We specialize in hand crafted and slow fermented sourdough bread, bagels, pizza shells and English muffins. In addition to our weekly offerings, we also have a monthly bread special and a weekly bagel special; these are announced on our social media pages.
David is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America were he studied on the savory side not baking. David is largely self taught in bread baking and started the bakery in the spring of 2020.
David is a member of the American Culinary Federation and holds the designations of Certified Executive Chef and Certified Culinary Administrator. We are also a member of the Bread Bakers Guild of America; who's mission is to support the craft, culture and business of artisan baking through education, training and community.
We operate a licensed micro bakery from our home in Bellefonte, PA. No storefront means we deliver everything we bake.
Everything we bake is based on a sourdough starter that is as old as the bakery. We use King Arthur flour as our base flour and mill our own wheatberries, rye berries and oat groats to blend into our products. Our sourdough is cold fermented for better flavor and texture.
Pre orders for Saturday delivery can be placed Monday morning at 8am until Wednesday at 4pm; or until we sell out.
